The De Soto City Fire Department has three full-time firefighters that work 24 hr rotations excluding Assistant Chief Craig Block who works Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

The Fire Department also has a number of individuals that volunteer their time as Firefighters.  This allows the City to provide the best possible service to the citizens of De Soto in the event of a fire or other emergency situations.
