Patrol

The Patrol Division is commanded by Lt Brian Werner and is considered the backbone of the Police Department. The Patrol Division has two Sergeants, and ten full time Officers. We have two squads that are supervised by the Sergeants.

Reserve Officers

The De Soto Police Department accepts applications from qualified individuals for the Reserve Program.  Individuals must meet the minimum qualifications:

Be 21 years old

Have High School Diploma or G.E.D

Hold at least a Class B License through POST

To File a Report

To file a Police report regarding a crime that has been committed within the City of De Soto please contact (636)586-8891 and an Officer will be dispatched to your residence.  Remember to allow 7-10 business days for a report to become available.
