Q: How many animals can I own in the city?
A. Three dogs and one cat, or three cats and one dog, or two and two—no
more than 4 animals total.
Q: When are the City Licenses due?
A: On January 1st, and they are good for one year. They must be renewed
yearly.
Q: I have a neighbor’s dog running in my yard. What should I do?
A: By all means, call us at City Hall and we will make contact with the
owner. (Please try to get a description of the dog and address of
the home, as it would help us to track them down.)
Q: I have a groundhog burrowing under my shed. What can I do about it?
A: Definitely call City Hall and we will place some live traps and
humanely remove any nuisance wildlife from your property and safely
re-locate them. PLEASE do not try to handle these animals by yourself!!
