Engine Co.
5710 is a 1997 E-1 pumper, it carries 860 gallons of water, and
has a 1500 gallon per minute pump. It also carries vehicle
rescue equipment. It also has room for six firefighters in the
cab.

Ladder Co.
5712 is a 2000 Luverne 105’ aerial. It carries 500 gallons of
water, 40 gallons of class B foam, and has a 2000 gallon per
minute pump. It also has room for six firefighters in the cab.

Rescue/Engine 5714 is a 2004 Crimson. It
has a 750 gallon water tank, 30 gallon class B foam tank and a
1500 gallon per minute pump. It carries tools for vehicle
rescue, confined space rescue, water rescue, and equipment for
emergency medical calls.

It was built by a
local black smith, and donated to the fire dept. in 1893.
volunteers would pull the cart to the fire, truck carried 6
buckets, ladders, an ax and pry bar. unit was restored by the De
Soto Volunteer Firefighters Association in 1992 |

Brush Truck 5718 is a 1986 Chevy 4x4, it carries 200 gallons of
water, and specialty tools for brush fires.
UTV 5799 is a 2007 Bobcat UTV. It carries 50 gallons of
water, and emergency medical equipment. It is used for
brush fires, and access to patients that are off road where
other vehicles cannot go.
