The Public works personnel will be starting a major water line replacement project
which will start at Grand & Boyd street and proceed East to Main Street Alley. This
project is being done to replace the older iron water main to a new (PVC) Polyvinyl

the spring of 2012.
This project is estimated to take 6 months to complete weather permitting,
throughout this project we ask for your patience and support when sections of street
need to be closed down so that street repairs can be made with concrete which will
take after poured a minimum of 7 days before traffic will be allowed to drive over
the surface.
There will be detours and throughout the project which will help inform you where to go so that you can avoid traffic delays and travel in a safe manner. There will be plenty of signs and in addition to lighted message boards so that you have early warning of each block that will be shut-down during the project.
